Workshop Overview

We currently live in the era of customer experience and supply chains are required to be more agile and flexible in order to meet consumer demand. “Network Design”, as it were, has evolved and is now considered “Supply Chain Design” as wider scoped considerations and decisions are made. More knowledge and understanding of supply chain principles by each of the supply chain operators from the warehouse worker, truck driver, demand planner, inventory planner all the way up to the CFO and CEO has never before been so crucial for competitive advantage.

What you will learn

Ever asked yourself, ‘what if?’ Well ASCI has arranged for Sydney Members to harness some sophisticated technology for modelling, optimising and simulating a mock supply chain network. Delegates will have the opportunity to choose alternative options and explore the service, performance, costs and risks associated with the change. All within a single integrated software platform from one of the world’s top software solution providers, Llamasoft, using its award winning Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru solution.

Delegates will be briefed on a specific yet industry-independent case study, each provided with various decision making options to build a winning supply chain design. Using the software’s dynamic predictive features, delegates will receive instant feedback to the best solution based on the brief.

This workshop will leave you with refreshing insights, principle knowledge of supply chain design, constraints to be carefully considered in the decision making process and options and choices perhaps not considered previously in executing a well-planned supply chain design that can be potentially replicated and implemented right away!
