Transforming your Supply Chain
ASCI has been partnering with Australian businesses in corporate training for over 50 years. There's been a lot of change in that time, particularly in the supply chain. These days, Australian organisations are presented with two options: continue to operate with rules, metrics and tools developed more than fifty years ago or make a break from convention, recognise the complex supply chains we live in and make a fundamental change in the way you do business.
If this is you, let us help you navigate change!
Three steps to transformation include skilling up, setting up and serving up to success.
ASCI recommends that you read up on DDMRP - the formal planning and execution method designed to correct the inadequacies and inappropriate rules of conventional Material Requirements Planning (MRP) given today’s more volatile, complex and service oriented supply and manufacturing scenarios. The method was first fully articulated in the latest edition of Orlicky’s Material Requirements Planning (McGraw-Hill, 2011) co-authored by Carol Ptak and Chad Smith.
Learn in a structured, facilitated environment and give yourself time to discuss the concepts with the facilitators and your peers to solidly build your base. ASCI recommends the Demand Driven Planner (DDP) program designed for planning, purchasing and supply chain personnel responsible for maintaining a DDMRP implementation. Designed by the leading authorities on DDMRP at the Demand Driven Institute, the Demand Driven Planner program is comprised of 13 modules of in-depth DDMRP education. The DDP Program is THE official preparatory course for the ISCEA’s Certified Demand Driven Planner (CDDP) Certification test.
Next "Skill Up" is to participate in the Demand Driven Leader (DDL) Program which is designed to equip senior and mid-level operations and supply chain managers with the ability to design, implement and sustain a Demand Driven Operating Model including parameter settings through Demand Driven S&OP (DDS&OP). . The program spans Planning, Operations, Distribution and Finance. Designed by the leading authorities on Demand Driven methods at the Demand Driven Institute, the Demand Driven Leader program is comprised of 7 modules of in-depth Demand Driven education. The DDL Program is THE official preparatory course for the ISCEA’s Certified Demand Driven Leader (CDDL) Certification test.
ASCI offers briefings with Demand Driven Institute qualified consultants to help you establish a supply chain design that mirrors what yours could look like.
ASCI offers briefings with Demand Driven Institute qualified consultants to help you identify the first area for implementation, as a pilot. This should prove maximum results for minimal disruption to your supply chain team.
Integral to supply chain transformation is a fundamental appreciation of demand driven concepts, which the entire supply chain can acquire through ASCI in-company training drawing from Demand Driven Institute courseware and local DDI facilitators.
