ASCI Networking Breakfast Series: Procurement Round Table Discussion - Victoria (1/2 CPD point)
Round Table Discussion: Sustainable Procurement
The focus of this is on sustainable procurement, and how to work towards an increased focus on the bottom line for businesses globally. Moderated by ASCI's Victorian Chapter, this round table discussion is a casual start to the program for the new year, tabling a brand new whitepaper covering latest supply chain issues.
A new white paper explores the procurement space and its vulnerability for disruption. Our friends at The Eventful Group have developed this white paper, with the spotlight shining brightly on sustainable procurement, tougher regulations around modern slavery, and an increased focus on the bottom line for businesses globally. This round table discussion will focus on generic discussions around the procurement function and how ASCI Members believe it can be uniquely positioned to drive this disruption. Members from CIMA, WISTA and AME are welcome to attend because the need for fresh, innovative solutions, going wide in thinking and borrowing ideas from outside functions, industries and geographies, has never been more imperative!
ASCI runs a series of quarterly roundtables designed to provide an insightful forum for current challenges and future logistic trends impacting our members. This discussion should not be used as a forum for any parties to exchange commercially or competitively sensitive information with one another. Rather, it may be used as a mechanism to plan and organise upcoming events and, if any information is to be shared, that information should already be publicly available. Some ACCC links are below:
