This game allows 10 people at a time to experience the concept in a both fun and educational way. With DDBrix, your team can clearly experience what 'pull by demand' means, using Lego bricks! With the carefully designed DDBrix kit, participants can experience the four phases of the game in two different versions (factory or distribution).

Acceleration of the physical flow:
1 – Supply Chain with a push system
2 – Supply Chain with a pull system (Lean)

Importance of relevant information flow:
3 – Supply Chain driven by forecasts
4 – Supply Chain driven by demand

Objectives

In this game we will demonstrate how to speed up the flow of materials by using DDMRP buffers and ‘relevant’ information.

You will experience first-hand how a demand driven operating model works and the benefits it will bring your organisation.

  • learn some basic principles of Supply Chain Management and DDMRP while having fun
  • experience the changes DDMRP will make to the flow of information and material in a production environment
  • understand the new organisation proposed by DDMRP on the planning and prioritisation of production and distribution orders
  • discover how DDMRP will stabilise production/distribution and reduce overall team stress.
