President

Indrasen Naidoo RegPracProc

Indrasen is a Registered Practitioner (Procurement) and a “maverick” at heart tempered with collaborative spirit on rethinking and reframing Supply Chains towards “Human-centric” design for performance and sustainability.  Indrasen has drawn on his dual academic pathways of finance and industrial engineering to shape a 25-year career in supply chain in South Africa and Australia. He has held executive leadership roles in organisations including De Beers, Mondi Group, FirstRand Bank and Roy Hill Holdings as well a non-executive founding director role with the South African Supplier Diversity Council. 

His leadership of transformation initiatives draws on his skill a leadership coach, to facilitate dialogue that reshapes mindsets and beliefs to reframe business models, embrace technology innovation and adapt behaviours to establish a predictable future of thriving at a system and network level.  

Indrasen holds Bachelor of Commerce, Chartered Management Accounting, Master in Business Leadership, Master in Engineering qualifications and is currently engaged in doctoral research focussed on integral supply networks in a digital economy. He has certifications as Member of International Coach Federation, Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and Prosci Change Management.

Flavio Macau

Flavio is a senior lecturer and researcher in Supply Chain & Operations Management, a researcher in Assurance of Learning, consultant in Project Management, a Director of Academic Studies at the School of Business and Law, Edith Cowan University and a coach for young talents at NEXA Resources - South America. 

Since 2019, Flavio has held the Course Coordinator role of the Bachelor of Commerce at Edith Cowan University - the course with the highest number of enrolments in the School of Business and Law (1,000+).

From 2013 to 2020, Flavio assisted 18 research projects (main supervisor in half of them), lectured 70+ units to more than 2,500 students, published 11 international peer-review articles, co-authored one book, authored three business cases studies, and assisted more than 120 short-term consulting projects.

David Hogg

David has over 20 years of experience in finance and procurement roles within the building and construction industry. David is passionate about continued learning and building a professional network of like-minded experts. He is a member of Chartered Institute for Management Accountants and is a former Chapter President for ASCI WA Chapter. 

Geoff Palm RegPracProc

Geoff is Director & Treasurer of the ASCI Board of Directors and has a part time role as Education Officer in the ASCI National Office. He is a passionate advocate of continuous improvement and learning, coming from his background in manufacturing, resources and oil & gas. His experience is with companies like Carrier and Honeywell and over three years as a trainer/assessor.

A successful Continuous improvement approach is about cultural change and the management of that change. The second critical part of CI is developing systems that break down problems and meet the needs of your company. The value add is meeting the needs of the customer, whether internal or external. Both must see value for any system to work.

Geoff believes in challenging the status quo of any system that does not look at re-inventing itself. He has taken this journey as a consultant and trainer after 30 years of gaining knowledge.

Ignacio Losada RegPracLog

Ignacio has more than 10 years of experience working in supply chain areas of diverse industries FCMG, SME, 3PL, and OEM. His career development in manufacturing and service companies has mainly focused on strategic planning, inventory management, continuous improvement, processes and business analysis, leadership, negotiation, and operations management. Ignacio holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineer. 

Karen Livey

Karen has served as Director on the ASCI Board, as well as President of the ASCI WA Chapter Committee for over 10 years. She has a degree in psychology, an MBA and a variety of qualifications including neuroscience.

Karen is known as an expert in her field of leadership training, Karen is obsessed with leaders unlocking their potential and engaging better with their teams and other stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. In these fast-changing times, understanding how our brains work and applying this is essential.

Steve Murdoch

Steve is supply chain manager for Harvestaire a 40 year old company manufacturing and supplying Agricultural machinery spare parts to the Australian broad acre farming community. He has been a WA Chapter Committee member since 2001.

Suhaila Quaddus

Suhaila is a supply chain planner at Roy Hill. She has strong operations skills with a Master of Business Administration - MBA focused in Business Administration and Management, General from Curtin University.

Tayla Ayling

Tayla is a Graduate from UWA with a double major in Economics and Marketing in 2019. She is currently completing a Masters of Commerce, majoring in Supply Chain Management, a postgraduate degree that will blend a study of information systems, management science together with decision based systems.
