Martin has over 30 years’ experience as an academic and industry professional and consultant in logistics, supply chain management, procurement, strategy development, transport economics and innovation. He has been a consultant in Supply Chain Management in the private sector (Deloitte, AECOM Engineering, BSD Engineering ) and has been a Professor at Curtin University in Supply Chain Management and Dean of Business College, Ajman University in Dubai. 

He has undertaken a large number of projects for private and public sector clients and has very strong leadership and communication skills, has a well-established reputation in WA.

Proven success managing up to 270,000 SKU’s and teams of over fifty employees, achieving high rates of schedule reliability through advanced planning and optimisation, material availability, and inventory records accuracy. Innovative analytical person who assesses operations and measures progress towards continuous improvement with materials management, warehousing, distribution and strategic supply chain management.

With a proven track record in delivering sustainable growth whilst managing the P&L, my expertise in procurement strategy includes sourcing strategies, initiation and optimisation of ethical business partnerships and value-based decision-making to reduce expenditure and improve operational effectiveness aligned to a Company’s business strategy.

Senior supply chain professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, having held roles in professional services and industry.  

Experienced in all aspects of supply chain management from business strategy, integrated planning and S&OP / IBP through order to cash/procure to pay to operations processes.

She has demonstrated expertise in business transformation programs, supply chain process improvement projects, and APS and ERP systems implementation (SAP IBP, SAP APO, Manugistics, i2).

Experience spanning steel / industrial products, FMCG/CPG, global dairy, public health (hospital processes) and book publishing.



Klaus Zillner

President of the College and Chair of the Council

Logistics + Supply Chain Management professional with 20+ years’ experience in large-scale multi-national + international mobilisations of personnel + cargo via air, sea + road operations. C-level manager with strong analytical skills and exposure to Operations Management, Freight + Passenger Transportation, Global Logistics Ops & International Relations. Accountable for budgets of around US$35M + management + supervision of over 200 personnel. Consults to Governments + 3rd Party logistics providers.





Jon Westerland RegPracILS

Since 1999, Jon has led teams responsible for the design, development, delivery, and ongoing management of Asset Management Systems and Support Services contracts to industry and across Local, State and Commonwealth Government bodies.

Recognising the value of cost-effective support to owners of complex systems, Jon is enthusiastic about reinvigorating the myriad of skillsets that combine to deliver cost-effective and sustainable support outcomes and as KBR’s Professionalisation Manager, is responsible for the continuing professional development of their Government Services workforce of over three hundred direct staff and a further 250 directly engaged sub-contracted staff.
